ABRAKADABRA
About event
Abrakadabra
Abrakadabra — an ancient spell transformed into playful black light magic at Prague's IMAGE Theatre.
The mysterious word Abrakadabra has travelled through centuries, linked to ancient languages and magical traditions. Its meaning is often understood as something close to "so it shall be" — a spell powerful enough to make things disappear, bring hidden objects into view and turn the impossible into reality.
In the world of Abrakadabra, darkness can suddenly shine, silence can become music, lifeless objects can begin to dance and even the wingless may take flight.
Magic is an art, much like painting, singing or dancing. A travelling family of experienced cabaret performers has mastered this unusual talent and uses it to create a living. But even the smallest mistake in a magical incantation can change everything — and that is exactly where the comedy begins.
Because Abrakadabra needs no translation, the story can be enjoyed by audiences from every country. Step into a world of comical magic and discover a non-verbal performance full of suspense, surprises, humour, dance and unforgettable black light effects.
